Groton Area Elementary School Daily Announcements 9-24-09
May I have your attention please for the daily announcements. This is Kiernan McCranie.
Good morning. Today is Thursday, September 24th, 2009. This is the 22nd day of school.
There are just a few 2008-2009 yearbooks left for sale. If you are interested, bring your 40 dollars and see Melinda in the office. First come, first serve, and you must have payment in hand. No reserving.
If you would like to be a part of DI, please fill out the form and return it to Mrs. Winburn as soon as possible.
Students: Please wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze so we can hopefully prevent the spread of any sicknesses that may be going around.
We have a lot of students leaving the building at the end of the day who are running and we are going to have someone get hurt. Please walk, and stay on the sidewalk.
The 4th grade will be going on a field trip this morning to the Water Festival in Aberdeen. They should be back to school around 1 PM.
There are Pee Wee and Midget t-shirt jerseys priced at one dollar that can be purchased at the City Hall for anyone interested.
Staff –Please turn in your student groups for Words Their Way by Friday please.
Picture retakes will be October 2. If you missed picture day, you were drooling, or didn’t look pretty enough, you can get your picture retaken Friday, October 2.
Do you like to read books? Do you like to eat? Mrs. Feser has a way for you to earn Culver’s ice cream or a kid’s meal just for having fun reading. See Mrs. Feser in the library for more details.
Staff - RtI Data Team meeting today for everyone involved with the 3rd grade teams. We will meet in Mr. Dalchow’s office during 3rd grade RtI time.
