Groton Area Elementary School Daily Announcements 9-29-09
May I have your attention please for the daily announcements. This is Megan Unzen.
Good morning. Today is Wednesday, September 30th, 2009. This is the 26th day of school.
We have a 2008-2009 Groton Area School yearbook that is looking for a good home. If you would like to take it home and make it yours, please bring 40 dollars to the office to make it your own.
Students: Please wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze so we can hopefully prevent the spread of any sicknesses that may be going around.
We have a lot of students leaving the building at the end of the day who are running and we are going to have someone get hurt. Please walk, and stay on the sidewalk.
Picture retakes will be October 2. If you missed picture day, you couldn’t tame your colic, or didn’t look pretty enough, you can get your picture retaken Friday, October 2.
If you have not received your Culvers book mark, the one needed to earn free food for reading, see Mrs Feser..
Student Council is sponsoring Homework Month in October. Two names will be drawn each day. If your name is drawn, and your homework is done for that day, you win a prize. The first prize winners are coming soon, stay tuned. See Mrs. Rock in the afternoon to get your prize if you have all of your homework done and are a winner.
Mrs. Garret, from SRA Reading Mastery, will be here observing various classes and RtI groups today.
Staff – please have all grades posted to midterm by 1:30 today. Midterms will be sent home today.

Please stand, face the flag, put your hand over your heart and recite the pledge of allegiance with me: 1***2***3***4***5
I Pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic
for which it stands,
one Nation under God,
with liberty and justice for all.
Thank you and have a good day.
