The 2010 Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Statewide Contest winners have been selected.  Groton Elementary had several winners in this contest that was open to all South Dakota Students in first through fifth grade.  The following students from Groton Area Elementary were winners:  2^nd Grade Division 2^nd place winner- Tadyn Glover; 3^rd Grade Division 1^st Place winner- Jennie Doeden, 3^rd Grade Division 2^nd Place winner -Alexis Simon, 3^rd Grade Division  3^rd Place winner – Jeremy Johnson.  Congratulations to all of the winners.

 

For those of you who have not reached your AR goals yet, you have until the end of today to get there.  Those that reached the Super Goal, you will be ordering your prizes the first week in May so that you receive your books by the end of the school year.
