Gilbert Godfried has a birthday today.  He is a comedian and actor with a unique voice.  Currently he is most famous for a commercial where you can hear his voice say, AFLAC.  What is the animal that says the word AFLAC.  The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

A big thank you to everyone who helped out and attended the Elementary PAC’s carnival over the weekend.  It was a lot of fun and a huge success.

Students are to stay off the high hills on the playground,  as well as the snowbanks in front of the school.

Information on two different  3-on-3 basketball tournaments in Britton can be found in the front entryway.  Tournaments will be held on March 26^th and on April 9^th.

We still need volunteers to help out at the Boys Basketball Tournament this coming Saturday.  If you can help, or know of someone that is interested, please have them contact the office.

Good morning, today is Friday, February 25th  , 2011

George Harrison has a birthday today.  He was part of one of the most popular rock bands in history.  The band is named after a type of bug.  Can you guess what the name of the band is?  The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

Students are to stay off the high hills on the playground,  as well as the snowbanks in front of the school.

In a very close contest, with just 24 more boxtops  than the next class, the 6^th grade is the winner of the boxtop contest with 827 boxtops turned in.  They will select the music all of next week for morning announcements.  We had a total of 3959 boxtops turned in and that  comes to just about $400 dollars for our school.  Way to go everyone!  

There will be a frybread sale today.

Information on two different  3-on-3 basketball tournaments in Britton can be found in the front entryway.  Tournaments will be held on March 26^th and on April 9^th.

We still need volunteers to help out at the Carnival this coming Saturday.  If you can help, or know of someone that is interested, please have them contact the office.  The carnival will run from 5-7 PM with the inflatables running before the carnival from 2-5  PM.  Supper will also be served so come on out for a fun afternoon and evening.
