Good morning, today is Friday, April 29th , 2011

Dale Earnhardt would have had a birthday today.  He passed away competing in his sport.  His number  was the number 3 when he competed.  Do you know what sport he competed  in?   The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

There will be a fry bread sale today.

Remember that today is the last day to earn AR points for this year.  Some of you are real close to reaching your goal.  We will announce the super AR goal winners who will receive 10 dollars to spend on the May book orders.

There will be high school students here on Friday to collect pop tabs this afternoon.   As the seniors will be here for their presentations the last part of the day on Friday, the poptab totals and winners will be announced during the morning announcements Monday morning.

Elementary health fair and track and field day will be on Friday, May 13^th.

There is U-10 boy soccer practice for all teams at 5 PM today at the soccer fields.

May I have your attention please for the daily announcements.  This is Kaycie Hawkins.

Good morning, today is Thursday,  April 14^th  , 2011

Patrick Fairley has a birthday today.  He was the lead singer in a band called the Marmalades.  They wrote a song called  Ob La Di Ob La Da.  There was a much more famous band, named after a bug,  that sang this song and made  the song famous.  Can you guess the name of that band?  The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

Students please disregard any ambulance, police, and fire sirens or helicopters you may hear this morning as this is part of the Health Fair going on at the high school.  They are going through drills and acting out a crash scene.  All of the sirens and helicopter noises are nothing but part of the play reenactment going on.   There is no emergency and nobody is hurt, it is all make believe.

Students are to stay on the pavement due to muddy conditions on the playground.

Dakota Step test continues today for grades 3-6.  Keep up the good work and continue to concentrate and focus throughout the whole test!  Remember your hard work could pay off by winning a laptop computer!

For Dakota STEP week, the student council will be selling gum each morning.  Bring your loose change and quarters so you can purchase gum to chew while taking your tests.
