May I have your attention please for the daily announcements. This is Jessica Helm.
Good morning, today is Friday, Sept. 9, 2011.
Harland Sanders was born on this day in 1890.. He started a chain of restaurants that are still around today. If you like chicken you may have had some chicken made from his secret recipe. Do you know which restaurant chain he started? The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.
Anyone in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade who is interested in boys and girls floor hockey may pick up a registration form in the front lobby. Deadline to sign up is Sept. 20th.
Students going to the football game tonight, you should be there to watch the game. Football, tag, wrestling, and other games are not allowed behind the bleachers. The elementary playground is also off- limits unless you are with an adult who is supervising you. Those not following these rules will find themselves sitting with a supervisor, or removed from the stadium.
All girls basketball players, the Y girls basketball sign up forms are here. If you are interested in Y basketball, please pick up a registration form in the front lobby. Deadline to sign up is Sept. 20th.
The theme for this year’s homecoming is comic books. Remember, Monday’s dress up day is Wacky Tacky Dress up day. Come wearing your most outrageous, mix-matched outfits.
Students, .please get your handbook sheet signed and turned in as soon as possible. Teachers, once you have received all of your sheets, turn them in to the office.
Here is the lunch menu for today: chicken patty on a bun, flavored rice, fruit, ice cream, and milk.
