Good morning, today is Friday, Sept. 16, 2011.

Nick Jonas has a birthday today.  Do you know what he is famous for?   The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

The Carnival of Silver Skates registration and costume measurement will take place on Sunday, Sept. 18^th from 11 to 1, Monday, Sept. 19^th from 3:30 to 7 and Tuesday, Sept. 20^th from 3:30 to 7 at the warming house.  All that are interested in participating in the 2012 Carnival must attend one of these sessions.

Anyone in 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, or 4^th grade who is interested in boys and girls floor hockey may pick up a registration form in the front lobby.  Deadline to sign up is Sept. 20^th.

Any boys or girls who are interested in playing Aberdeen Cougar Ice hockey this year, please pick up a registration form in the front lobby.

Students going to the football game tonight, you should be there to watch the game.  Football, tag, wrestling, and other games are not allowed behind the bleachers.  The elementary playground is also off- limits unless you are with an adult who is supervising you.  Those not following these rules will find themselves sitting with a supervisor, or removed from the stadium.

All girls basketball players, the Y girls basketball sign up forms are here.  If you are interested in Y basketball, please pick up a registration form in the front lobby.  Deadline to sign up is Sept. 20^th.

Reminder that lunch is moved up 30 minutes today due to the parade.

Good morning, today is Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.

Tommy Lee Jones has a birthday today.  He is an actor who has starred in many movies.  He is best known for his movies, Men in Black and his portrayal of a Texas Ranger in the movie western, Lonesome Dove.  In college he was a star player for this sport and his roommate was former vice president Al Gore..  Can you guess what sport he played?   The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

Tomorrow’s forecast is for a high of 59 degrees and windy.  Please bring a jacket to wear as we will be outside for most of the afternoon.  It WILL NOT  be shorts and t-shirt weather. Please dress accordingly.
