The 26^th president of the United States was born on this day in 1858.   He is known for being the first president to ride in an airplane.  He was part of the Rough Riders that rode up San Juan Hill against the Spaniards.  He is also known as the person responsible for giving the stuffed toy animal the name, “teddy bear” after his nickname.  Can you guess the president’s name?    The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.

Conferences are today.  Students will eat 30 minutes early and school will be dismissed at 12:35.
