Good morning, today is Thursday, March 29th , 2012.
Sam Walton would have had a birthday today. He started a chain of stores that has become one of the largest in the world. In fact there is one in Aberdeen. Do you know the name of the store? The answer is on the bottom of the announcements that can be seen on the Tiger Talk Blog.
Congratulations to the math problem of the week winners, Chandler Larson and Macine McGannon.
There will frybread sold this Friday.
Congratulations to the 1st grade. All of the 1st graders have reached their AR goal! Remember that you need to have your points by the end of April.
Students need to stay away from the track shotput and discus areas.
The health and nutrition poster contest is now up and running. Deadline is March 30th.
The Peeps contest is back! Show off your creativity by making a Peeps display and bring it to the library. See Mrs. Madsen for more details.
There will be a 4H meeting of the Putney Putovers on Monday at 6 PM at the Community Center.
Soccer registration is open for anyone school age. Please visit grotonsoccer.com to register.
Dakota STEP testing is next week starting on Monday. The student council will be selling gum to chew during testing each morning before testing. Bring your spare change to buy gum. 25 cents a piece.
