The Groton Area School District is one of only four school districts in the state identified as a "Distinguished District" on the No Child Left Behind 2010 State Report Card. Distinguished Districts are identified using the following criteria: (a) met AYP for two consecutive eyars in reading, math, and other academic indicators for all three grade spans
AND (b) at least 85% of the students in the "all student" group have met the state's proficient and advanced levels of student performance in both reading and math. I am very proud of our students and staff
You have shined once again! What a great way to start the 2010-2011 school year.
