The school/community service project, originally planned for this Saturday, April 17, will now be rescheduled to a later date. Thank you to all of those who planned to come, but my hope is that by pushing this back to a later date, we will then have a better understanding of the impact the planned renovations will have on our exterior. I want to ensure that our hard work will be useful and long-lasting. Stay tuned for more information.
Reminder...PSSA testing for grades 3 and 4 in the areas of reading and math will take place this week, Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 16. Second grade students will be taking the CogAT tests on Tuesday, April 13 through Thursday, April 15. Thanks to our PTO for providing healthy snacks to these students for the days of the testing. Make sure your child gets a good night sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and dresses comfortably for the days of the testing. Good luck, do your best, and make Hanover Street proud!
Recently, HSE hosted its first Math Game Night! Students and their parents were treated to an evening of fun and games, all centered around math. Everyone left with some neat math creations, games to play at home, and a smile on their faces! If you missed this one, we plan to have more next school year. Thanks to all who attended....we love that so many of our parents are actively involved and supportive of their child's success here at HSE!
