On Friday, January 21st, Hanover Street Elementary students showed their school spirit at the boy's varsity basketball game! Many of our students, dressed in their orange and black, loudly cheered our Nighthawks on to victory. At halftime, the students, along with 4th grade teacher, Mr. Mowrey, led the crowd in a cheer for our Nighthawks! The cheer was written by a Hanover Street second grade student. Also, because Mr. Mowrey's class had the best attendance and the most "spirited" students at the game, their class earned possession of the HSE Spirit Stick! A great thanks to all students, staff, and parents, who helped make our Spirit Night a great success!
