Recently at Hanover Street Elementary, our PTO helped host a wonderful breakfast for our students and their grandparents! We recognize the important role grandparents play in our students' lives, and this was one small way for us to say, "Thank you!" Special thanks also go out to these local businesses for donating their time and resources...The Broken Cookie provided homemade strawberry and blueberry granola parfaits...Poist Studios provided free developing for pictures of students with their grandparents, and Matthew's Closeouts donated the frames for these special keepsakes! This is just our most recent example of our school working together with parents and the community, for the betterment of our children!

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
Where one person sees a challenge, another person sees on opportunity! The HSE Art Club, with the help of our art teacher, Mrs. Smith, has taken it upon themselves to add some art and color to our school as it continues through the renovation process. These students plan to use temporary walls and boarded up windows as blank canvases for their creative artwork. We are all looking forward to the end results!
