Santa Claus Came to Town!

Our students were treated to a very special visit from the "Big  Guy."  Students were able to share with Santa their own Holiday wish.  We at Hanover Street Elementary would like to wish all of our students and families a warm and wonderful Holiday Season, and we will be looking forward to seeing you all again in the new year, Tuesday, January 3rd.

Traveling Zoo Exhibit

Some of Hanover High School's biology students, with the help of Mr. Biechler and Mr. Sutter, brought a myriad of interesting creatures to all three of our elementary schools!  Check out some awesome video clips at our district website www.hpsd.k12.pa.us

Elementary Holiday Concert

Recently, Hanover High School was the site for an outstanding musical performance conducted by the very talented students at Washington, Clearview, and Hanover Street Elementary.  A special thanks to Mrs. Hahn and Mr. Novasedliak for all of their efforts to make this a special evening for our students and their families!

Santa Visit

Tis' the Season!  Every year, HSE is a stop on the tour from the Big Guy!  He will be spreading joy and cheer at Hanover Street on December 21st, a few days before he travels the globe!  For all of our students, it is your last chance to either stay on, or get on to the "Nice" list :)

Honorary Hawk!

At all three elementary buildings, we like to recognize our students publically, for their hard-work in the classroom, their positive attitude, and school spirit!  This week's Honorary Hawk is no exception!  Madelyn Hutton will be representing Hanover Street Elementary at this Friday's girl's varsity basketball student.  Madelyn is an outstanding student, a good friend to her peers, accomplished musician, and exceptional athlete.....congratulations, Madelyn!

 

Secret Santa Shop

Our Secret Santa Shop this year was a BIG hit!  Our PTO created a miniature Winter Wonderland, where our students could choose a special present or two for the special people in their lives.  During this Holiday Season, it is heart-warming to see our students truly understand why it is better to give, than to receive!
