Happy New Year to our extended Hanover Street families! We hope the Holidays have been enjoyable and restful. It was so nice to see all of our students back today, filled with stories from the Holidays! With this new year, I'd also like to share some good news coming to Hanover Street this month. We have been approved to open up an additional full-day Kindergarten class to start on January 23, 2012. This is great news since one of our district goals for the past few years has been to move to all full-day Kindergarten classes. With the addition of this new class to Hanover Street comes some personnel changes. Miss Lauren White will be taking over the duties of this new full-day Kindergarten class. Ms. Tina Clymer will be coming to us from Clearview Elementary to take over our AM/PM Kindergarten class. Mr. Peter Reck will be leaving us to take over for Ms. Clymer's second grade class at Clearview Elementary. Finally, Miss Laura Staub will be taking over Mr. Reck's first grade classroom here at HSE, until the return of Mrs. Kelly Ulsh in April. So, lots of moving and shaking in the new year, all of which will be very positive for our students. Mr. Reck's last day at Hanover Street will be this Friday, January 6, so please join me in wishing him good luck and congratulations on the new full-time job with HPSD!
