I am posting link to a video that caused me to be both amazed and shocked/disturbed.  While I was amazed at how proficient this 10 year old was on the axe, I was shocked by how old Ozzy looked.  Dude you are not cool.  Its amazing that he is such a cult icon.  Sorry Oz Festers!!!

I am attaching a webpage that helps to demonstrate why we have promoted and pushed technology integration into our schools.  As teachers we must be relevant and if we want to be successful we have to relate the information to students in a way that they are familiar.

Next I must admit that I am extremely excited that they are paving the parking lot today.  The end is in sight.  YEAH!!!  In the not too far future we will no longer have to endure the constant noise of jack hammers, dump trucks, sawing, hammering etc.

 

WELCOME BACK!!!

You have got to love the first day of school.  The excitement in the school is incredibly contagious.  Before I go any further I need to thank everyone that helped make last night's Welcome Back Picnic such a success.  It was a packed house, and definitely an exciting event.  If you weren't able to attend I would like to invite you to come visit whenever you can make it.  The building addition is completed and looks GREAT!!!  In addition, to that we have done several other things to help spruce up the place if you will.

I also need to shout from the roof tops, because our district was identified as one of the top 4 districts in the state. Our students are definitely cooler than the otherside of the pillow.  Way to go!!!!  It is a privilege to work with such great students, staff, community, etc.  It is most assuredly a whole group effort.

Now that school has started again I will be writing in this quite regularly.  I also will be adding a 10 minute video clip about once a month.  I will use this resource to showcase our students and staff.
