I am attaching a link to a great video explaining autism. Perhaps what is most intriguing is the speaker is actually autistic.

Last night our students performed this year's all school play, Grease. While I unfortunalty couldn't make it, the reviews were incredible, and I am excited to go see it Sunday at 2:00. From what I understzand it is quite humorous, and the singing was great. It is most definitely must see TV. I am linking a couple of teasers for your viewing pleasure.

Ten Groton students have been selected to the 2010 North Area Honor Band. They are Michaela Oleson, flute; Annie Hockhalter, clarinet; Kelsey Wieseler, clarinet; Alec Oleson, clarinet; Ashley Larson, bass clarinet; Spenser Kavanaugh, baritone saxophone; Erin Sternhagen, trumpet; Hannah Luecke, percussion; Madison Cutler, percussion; and Seth Duncan, baritone.
The North Area Honor Band was created when area band directors began expressing an interest in providing a band of high-level musicianship for students who auditioned for All State Band. This year marks the 20th year of its existence. The Honor Band personnel are chosen from students whose names, along with their previous year’s all state band score, are submitted by their band directors. In the event that additional students are needed to complete the band, students are chosen based on band directors’ nominations and recommendations. It remains the goal of the directors to increase the interest in instrumental performance and to provide a top level learning experience for the more accomplished high school band students.
The conductor for this year is Dr. Alan LaFave, Dean of Fine Arts at Northern State University.
