I have been in to school the last few days getting ready for the return of students on Monday. Teachers have been in getting ready as well. It has been a wonderful break, but it is now time to get back to business.
We are ready to move forward on our plan for renewing and extending the school's technology. We have some money that our school council has raised for this purpose. We expect some help from the Board as well. Both teachers and council members are in agreement that work has to be done in this area. We will make the school wireless and begin the process of acquiring technology, computers principally, that will enable us to deliver a world-class education to our students. At the same time we think we can provide a service to the community that will raise the technology literacy of everyone. It promises to be an exciting time. I am certainly looking forward to it!
Mr. Doyle, welcome to the computer era.
